Job Details:
The successful Project Executive will manage major projects and major project teams in accordance with Prism standards and procedures while maintaining duties and responsibilities for specifically assigned projects. This individual will review and assist in the construction estimate process, review subcontracts and work orders for new projects, review change orders both to the GC/Owner and from the GC/Owner, and work with the VP of Construction Management to maintain current policies, procedures, standards, and in the development of new policies, procedures, and standards.

The successful Project Executive will manage major projects and major project teams in accordance with Prism standards and procedures while maintaining duties and responsibilities for specifically assigned projects. This individual will review and assist in the construction estimate process, review subcontracts and work orders for new projects, review change orders both to the GC/Owner and from the GC/Owner, and work with the VP of Construction Management to maintain current policies, procedures, standards, and in the development of new policies, procedures, and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage major projects and major project teams in accordance with Prism Electric, Inc. standards and procedures while maintaining duties and responsibilities for specifically assigned projects.
- Preside over and organize operational meetings once a month that include Project Executives, General Superintendents, and CAD/BIM Managers as necessary for assigned projects.
- Work with VP of Construction Management to maintain current policies, procedures, and standards and in the development of new policies, procedures, and standards.
- Review CTC's with Project Managers to ensure that the CTC's are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Review and assist in the construction estimate process to ensure they are developed per Prism Electric, Inc. standards.
- Review subcontracts and work orders for new projects
- Review change orders both to the GC/Owner and from the GC/Owner
- Review all major purchases (bulk buys, blanket pricing, major equipment) with Regional VP. Major purchase orders, bulk buys, unique work orders, and purchase orders over $50,000 to be reviewed by the VP of Construction for approval.
- Review all vendor or subcontractor exceptions to any of Prism's terms and conditions, forward to VP of Construction for additional review and approval.
- Review budget codes for new project set-up and change orders.
- Train or assist in the training of new or current Project Managers on policies and procedures and implementation of new policies and procedures.
- Assess the Project Managers methods, project staffing, work load, and responsibilities to ensure a productive and efficient work environment, and to be sure that the project staffing is in accordance with the projects estimated budgets.
- Participate in interviews of potential new employee's for the branch as determined by upper management.
- Manage the CAD/BIM department, review requests for equipment, access work load and schedules.
- Assist VP of your division with the development and procedures of the small projects department.
- Perform all evaluations of project management staff, approve PTO, and assist upper management in project assignments.
- 10 years of successful Project Management and Sr. Project Management experience
- Proven people management, process management, and performance management skills
- Knowledge of financial software, accounting practices, change order pricing, and billings
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong budget tracking, labor tracking, and scheduling skills
- Proficiency in information analyzation and budget setup
