About The Role:
As a Paralegal, you will support attorneys and Enrolled Agents (EAs) in handling complex tax, business, and estate cases, including IRS collections and entity formation, while working directly with clients in high-stress situations that require strong communication and problem-solving skills. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure cases are managed efficiently, and this role is ideal for an ambitious, growth-oriented individual interested in advancing within the legal or tax field, with opportunities to pursue additional licensure (EA, JD, CPA).

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys and EAs with complex tax resolution, business, and estate cases.
- Form business entities and advise clients on appropriate entity structures.
- Support clients dealing with IRS collections and compliance issues.
- Analyze and organize complex financial information to support case strategy.
- Prepare, review, and process legal documents efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with case preparation teams and senior compliance managers to ensure full case coverage.
- Manage client relationships, including de-escalating high-stress situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Work to clear case backlog and improve workflow efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and support upselling efforts.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress; preference for law, accounting, or related fields.
- Basic understanding of IRS collections is helpful but not required.
- Experience with entity formation or payroll taxes (941) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage complex cases and multitask effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable handling difficult client situations with a calm and steady approach.
Salary : $18 - $22
