Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detailed orientated and motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a blend of clerical experience, office management skills, and proficiency in various software applications. The Paralegal position will play a crucial role in drafting, editing, and filing pleadings as well as organizing and managing discovery for all of our cases.
Duties
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional manner at the front desk.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking messages as needed.
- Perform drafting of documents (discovery such as interrogatories, motions, exhibit and witness lists, etc), maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
- Filing documents with the court
- Manage calendar, scheduling of appointments, and coordinating meetings.
- Maintain office organization by managing supplies, equipment, and general office upkeep.
- Perform proofreading of documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
- Creating templates and merging them with our case management program.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), iCourt, Clio, Caret, Legal Server and Dropbox.
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong typing skills with a focus on accuracy.
- Familiarity with office management practices and clerical experience is essential.
- Demonstrated phone etiquette and customer service skills are critical for this role.
- Experience as a Legal assistant is a must.

Pay: $12.00 - $25.00 per hour
