What You'll Do
- Prepare aircraft components and parts for painting through cleaning, sanding, masking, and media blasting
- Apply primers, topcoats, epoxies, urethanes, and specialty aerospace coatings
- Operate HVLP spray guns, pressure pots, and related painting equipment
- Mix coatings according to specifications and manufacturer requirements
- Perform touch-ups, rework, and final detailing as needed
- Inspect finished work to ensure proper coverage, adhesion, and finish quality
- Read and follow work instructions, technical drawings, and process specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized paint booth and work area
- Follow all safety, quality, FAA, and OSHA requirements
What We're Looking For
- Previous industrial or aerospace painting experience
- Experience using HVLP spray systems and paint application equipment
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques including sanding, masking, and blasting
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
Preferred Experience
- Aerospace painting
- FAA Part 145 Repair Station experience
- Mil-spec or aerospace coating standards
- Two-part urethane and epoxy coating systems
- Aviation, manufacturing, or industrial environments
Pay & Benefits
