HAAS Machinist – Lathe & Mill

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HAAS Machinist with experience operating both HAAS lathes and mills. The ideal candidate will be proficient in setup and tear down, tool offsets, and editing G-code, with a strong understanding of measurement tools and inspection practices. This is a full-time, first-shift position in a clean and safety-focused manufacturing environment.

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Pay: $24-$27

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain HAAS CNC lathes and mills.

• Perform machine setup and tear down efficiently.

• Use touch-off probes to accurately set tool lengths and part zeros.

• Read, interpret, and edit G-code programs as needed.

• Perform tool offsets and verify part dimensions.

• Inspect parts using precision measurement tools including:

  • Micrometers (Mics)

  • Calipers

  • Depth Micrometers

  • ID Micrometers

  • Snap Gauges

• Ensure quality and accuracy of machined components.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating HAAS CNC machines (both lathe and mill).

• Strong understanding of G-code and CNC programming edits.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Skilled in the use of manual measuring instruments.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
