Position Overview
This hands-on role involves operating industrial cutting equipment to prepare materials accurately and efficiently for production. Youll work in a manufacturing environment both indoors and outdoors while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate band saws, Hem saws, and other industrial cutting equipment
- Measure and cut materials according to blueprints, work orders, and specifications
- Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials safely
- Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment
Qualifications
- 13 years of industrial saw operating or similar manufacturing experience
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Basic math skills, including fractions and measurements
- Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
- Ability to work independently in an indoor/outdoor manufacturing environment
Preferred: Pipe threading, beveling, torching, or fabrication experience (higher pay potential)
Pay: $17/hr Production Bonus
