We are seeking a dependable Assembler to join a sheet metal manufacturing team. This role involves assembling metal components and finished products using hand and power tools while following blueprints and assembly instructions. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Assemblers in this role help build a variety of metal products commonly used in commercial and industrial environments, such as roof hatches, access doors, floor doors, equipment enclosures, and other specialty sheet metal assemblies.
Pay: $17.64 $900 sign on bonus
Responsibilities:
Assemble sheet metal components and finished products according to blueprints and work instructions
Use various hand and power tools such as drills, impact drivers, rivet guns, grinders, and measuring tools
Read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings
Measure, align, and fit components to ensure proper assembly
Install hardware, hinges, fasteners, and other components as required
Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
Qualifications:
Previous mechanical assembly experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings
Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
