Assembler - Sheet Metal

We are seeking a dependable Assembler to join a sheet metal manufacturing team. This role involves assembling metal components and finished products using hand and power tools while following blueprints and assembly instructions. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Assemblers in this role help build a variety of metal products commonly used in commercial and industrial environments, such as roof hatches, access doors, floor doors, equipment enclosures, and other specialty sheet metal assemblies.

Pay: $17.64 $900 sign on bonus 

Responsibilities:
• Assemble sheet metal components and finished products according to blueprints and work instructions
• Use various hand and power tools such as drills, impact drivers, rivet guns, grinders, and measuring tools
• Read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings
• Measure, align, and fit components to ensure proper assembly
• Install hardware, hinges, fasteners, and other components as required
• Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines

Qualifications:
• Previous mechanical assembly experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings
• Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
