Job Summary
We are seeking professional, reliable, and approachable Security Guards to join our growing team. As a frontline representative of Priority Protection Group, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a secure and positive environment for our clients. You’ll observe, report, and respond to incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.
Responsibilities
Maintain a visible and professional presence at assigned sites.
Conduct regular patrols of property, buildings, and access points.
Monitor for safety hazards, suspicious activity, or policy violations.
Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies or disturbances.
Write detailed and accurate incident reports using proper grammar and format.
Communicate clearly with clients, employees, and law enforcement as needed.
Utilize verbal de-escalation and conflict resolution techniques when necessary.
Support a culture of teamwork, awareness, and professionalism.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid State of Utah Security Guard License
Current First Aid / CPR / AED certification
Reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Excellent written communication with proper grammar and punctuation
Professional email communication experience
Pass a drug screen
Pass a criminal history check
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of experience in security, public safety, or related field
Certifications in less-than-lethal tools
Demonstrated experience in verbal de-escalation or conflict management

Pass a 13-panel pre-employment drug screen
Pass an employer reference check
Complete a 90-day probation period, during which you will be required to complete
CPR/AED certification and one less-than-lethal certification, if you don’t already have
current certificates. These certificates are provided by the employer at no cost to you
