Academy Details
- Format: Live, instructor-led classroom sessions and labs as well as clinical rotations
- Instruction: Provided by Medshore Ambulance. Medshore is holding this academy in conjunction with a SCDPH approved training institution.
- Location: Anderson, SC
- Schedule: Monday through Friday 0900-1700. Including one-hour lunch break each day. (times are subject to change based on training schedule)
- Clinical Rotations: Minimum 10 live patient contacts in Anderson County 911 system
- Program Length: 13 weeks
- Certification Level: EMT-Basic
- Full engagement with attendance to all classes, labs, and clinical rotations.
- prompt testing for License upon course completion.
- commitment to work for Medshore Ambulance in a full-time position for at least 2 years following licensure.

Qualifications
Admission Requirements:
To Qualify, Applicants Must
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Hold a valid and current driver’s license
- Be able to pass:
- A pre-employment interview
- Pre-employment testing
- Background check (including Motor Vehicle Record screening)
- Drug screening
