Job Summary

Priority Lawn and Landscape is looking for dependable and hardworking Seasonal Snow Removal Technicians to join our team for the upcoming winter season.

This position is responsible for removing snow and ice from residential and commercial properties throughout Lincoln. Duties may include shoveling, snow blowing, plowing, applying ice melt, and safely operating snow-removal equipment.

This is an on-call, weather-dependent position. Employees must be available whenever snow or ice events require service, including early mornings, overnight hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Snow events may require working with short notice, and reliable attendance is essential.

There is also potential for advancement and continued employment after the winter season for employees who demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and quality performance.

Schedule & Availability

Snow removal is different from a typical seasonal job. Employees must be available whenever snow or ice conditions require service.

This may include:

• Early mornings
• Overnight shifts
• Daytime and evening shifts
• Weekends
• Holidays
• Short-notice shifts based on weather conditions

Because our customers rely on us to keep their properties safe and accessible, reliable attendance during snow and ice events is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and represent Priority Lawn and Landscape professionally
• Remove snow and ice from residential and commercial properties
• Shovel and blow snow from stairs, walkways, sidewalks, driveways, and other areas
• Safely operate snow plows, snow blowers, skid steers, and other equipment as trained and assigned
• Apply ice melt and other approved ice-control products
• Safely operate company vehicles, machinery, power tools, and equipment
• Perform equipment checks and assist with equipment maintenance
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Follow company safety procedures and instructions
• Assist with landscaping and other company projects when needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

This position involves physically demanding outdoor work.

Employees should be able to:

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods
• Shovel and move snow repeatedly
• Lift and carry materials and equipment
• Work safely in snow, ice, cold temperatures, and other winter conditions
• Perform physically demanding work for extended periods when necessary
