Letterpress Operator Job Description:
Seattle area company looking to add somebody to our letterpress department looking for a long-term opportunity with our company.
The right applicant would be a seasoned, professional letterpress operator.
Job Summary:
- Set up, run, and maintain Auto-Platen, Windmill, and Cylinder machines.
- Typical applications are; score, perf, die-cut, foil & emboss.
- Applicant must be open to cross-training and working in other finishing departments as needed.
Job Requirements/ Qualifications:
1. 5 years of operator experience preferred; letterpress experience a must.
2. Bindery, packaging & gluing experience.
3. Mechanical aptitude; maintenance experience.
4. Experience running, troubleshooting, and quality control.
5. Understand written instructions.
6. Frequent lifting, bending, and turning.
