JOB SUMMARY: Performs the day-to-day operations of the Fulfillment Warehouse Supervisor as the ultimate example and team captain. Responsible for warehouse activities for all products stored in the facility including product inventory, receiving, shipping, quality and safety in the work environment. This is a hands-on type of position.
Duties and Responsibilities
Warehouse Manager back up.
Ensuring processes are followed and maintained to monitor and manage customer’s inventory daily.
Fulfillment of product to customers including order management and processing.
Create shipping/delivery documents as required.
Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual inventory, to include cycle counts, researching/reconciling variances, and necessary adjustments.
Maintain, interpret and follow work orders to support the flow of work.
Become actively involved as required to meet schedules and resolve problems. – not just to delegate but to become involved with the physical aspect of the workplace.
Ensure an organized safe work environment in compliance with company policies, OSHA and other government regulations.
Provide leadership and direction to employees according to established policies.
Ensure receiving’s are being processed in a timely manner.
Assist Warehouse Manager with training of current and new employees.
Assist Warehouse Manager to ensure team is following procedures.
Required Skills
Contributes to the management team for continuous improvement in a positive and responsible manner (software, hardware, building).
Always mindful of cost control management.
2 years international shipping experience.
2-5 years’ experience using an inventory management system within a fulfillment warehouse environment.
Computer literate with proficiency in spreadsheet, word, transportation and cold chain applications. 2 years of Microsoft products.
1 year DG certified.
Leadership and communication skills – highly accountable and ethical.
Must be “promotable” with desire to learn, become involved in addition training and coachable.
Salary : $30 - $32
