Print Project Finisher
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Administration of exceptional customer service.
- Maintain clean and efficient workspace.
- Read work orders to determine instructions and specifications for machine set-up.
- Trim edges of books to size, using cutting machine, book trimming machines, or hand cutters.
- Set up and operate bindery machines and equipment.
- Watch operating equipment to detect malfunctions or troubleshooting to fix equipment as needed.
- Set up and operate bindery machines; such as coil binders, thermal or tape binders, plastic comb binders or specialty binders.
- Operate equipment to print images or bind printed images together.
- Punch holes in and fasten paper sheets, signatures or other material, using hand or machine punches and staplers.
- Operate effectively in a high-paced demanding environment while maintaining product quality.
- Innovate ways to streamline processes without sacrificing quality.
- Mandatory overtime required as needed.
Qualifications
- Skilled at setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining bindery equipment.
- Self-motivated with exceptional organizational.
- Effective Communication Skills.
- Ability to move and lift 60 pounds.
- Must have careful attention to details and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and complete work on schedule.
- Bonus - both strong computer skills and Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite software.
