Responsibilities
- Operate and oversee bindery machinery including cutting, folding, binding, and finishing equipment to produce polished printed materials.
- Interpret production documents and specifications accurately to execute print jobs efficiently and precisely.
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process to identify and correct defects or inconsistencies.
- Adjust and maintain industrial equipment.
- Collaborate with prepress teams utilizing software such as Adobe Creative Suite and other prepress software to prepare files for printing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating binding and finishing machinery such as cutters, paper binders, folders, and large-format printers.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with digital printing processes and workflows
- Knowledge of graphic design principles, layout design and typography
- Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
