ABOUT THIS ROLE:
The Swim Lesson Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the safe and delivery of effective and community-based aquatic programming based off demands and need at the Chinn Aquatics and Fitness center. The main charge for the position is oversight of our swim lesson program, and the aquatics instructor staff at the center while maintaining the highest safety standards and exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate would have:
3 years of experience working in aquatics.
A bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation, Business Management/Administration, Public Administration, or related field
2 years of supervisory experience
Experience with Ellis & Associates
Proven experience in leading and training aquatics staff
Starting Payrate: $23.25
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
1 year of aquatic experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
A valid Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification is a must.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
Typical schedule varies based on operational needs, typically in between 8:00am - 9:00pm Monday-Thursday, and 8:00am - 1:00pm on the weekends.
