The Prince George’s County Health Department is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill a Program Manager, Partnership Initiatives (Community Developer IV) grade A27 position, in the Behavioral Health Division.
About the Position
This is a full-time professional principal work whereby incumbents perform a variety of assignments in the area of community liaison/development advocacy. Incumbent will have oversight of community partnerships under the Behavioral Health Department’s (BHD) collective impact model, including partners the Prince George’s County Health Department (PGCHD) One-Stop Shops: Langley Park Multi-Service Center and the Bridge Center at Adams House, as well as the TCA and HB7/SB512 programs, Assessment and Case Management program, Community Case Management program, and additional programs transitioning into the model. The Program Manager is responsible for partner relationship management, identification of gaps in provider services/partner network, coordination of program activities or events, and evaluation of site performance. Work is performed under the general supervision of a Public Health Program Chief or other designated supervisory position. Work performance is evaluated in terms of accuracy, timeliness, communication, and site outcomes.

- Research new partners; develop and maintain positive relationships with new and current internal and external partners.
- Coordinate and ensure continuity of program services through managing the ecosystem of community-based partners.
- Maintain an updated list of partners, their on-site schedules and availability for each site, and their capacity to support new clients.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of community-based partners and make recommendations as to new services, policies, or procedures needed to improve.
- Prepare and/or supervises the preparation of statistical reports relating to program activities.
- Identify gaps in service providers, seek new partners to fill programmatic gaps, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute programmatic information and data to grant reports and proposals in collaboration with Program Chief.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in business or public administration, social services, sociology, psychology, or other field(s).
Three (3) years of progressively responsible professional technical, analytical and developmental work experience with at least one (1) year in a lead/supervisory role.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least five (5) years of experience working as a leader of community partnerships, partnership initiatives, or cross-sector collaboration efforts.
- At least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role.
- At least two (2) years of experience in program monitoring and evaluation.
- A valid driver's license.

- Meet all training and performance standards and demonstrate proficiency as required by the agency.
