We are seeking a passionate and energetic Child Care Director to lead our dedicated team and oversee daily operations at our vibrant preschool. In this vital role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality early childhood education while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for children and staff alike. Your leadership will inspire excellence in teaching, promote positive relationships with families, and uphold our commitment to educational standards and community engagement.
- Lead and manage daily classroom operations, ensuring adherence to curriculum standards and safety protocols
- Recruit, train, and support staff to foster a motivated and professional team committed to excellence in early childhood education
- Develop and implement policies that promote a nurturing, inclusive environment aligned with state licensing requirements and best practices
- Build strong relationships with families through regular communication, updates, and parent engagement initiatives
- Oversee compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and accreditation requirements
- Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, enrollment processes, staff scheduling, and record keeping
- Promote continuous improvement by organizing ongoing training opportunities for staff and staying current with industry trends
- Proven experience in higher education teaching or early childhood education administration
- Strong background in education administration within a preschool or similar setting
- Extensive university experience or background working with young children in educational environments
- Excellent teaching skills combined with the ability to lead and inspire a team of educators
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners
- Demonstrated ability to manage operational tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive atmosphere for learning and growth
