TRAFFIC CONTROL LABORER – NE and IA
- This is a manual labor job with respect to delivery, setup, and tear down of traffic control devices. Individual must be dependable, willing, and able to perform physically demanding work in all seasonal elements.
- Traffic control flaggers direct and control the flow of traffic in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with municipal, state and/or Federal guidelines.
- Must be able to lift and move
- Must be able to stand, walk, turn, stoop, kneel, and crouch, including the ability to do so on uneven
- Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to continuously drive on a start and stop
- Employees will be subject to outside weather conditions such as humidity, cold, heat, moisture, and wind.
- Noise levels can at times become loud
- Employees are frequently exposed to slow- or fast-moving
- Employees enjoy a union sponsored benefit package
