Senior Contracts Analyst holds the highest level of responsibility short of personnel management for the Contracting Department. This position has full contracting and administrative responsibilities along with extensive internal and external interface. This position is on the front line of communication, coordination, and document control for EPC contract exhibits. The Sr. Contracts Analyst is assigned large-scale projects, pre-construction teammates, project portfolios and clients. All coordination efforts, including but not limited to; transmittal and tracking of contract documents, meetings, and communications from assigned client or portfolio of clients, during the contracting phase, will be facilitated through this position.
Role Summary:
- Performs initial redlines of all EPC contracts and exhibits with minimal oversight from Managers.
- Participates in negotiations of the EPC contract and exhibits with oversight from Managers.
- Understands and champions PRE’s various risk tolerances.
- Assists with running the EPC contract and exhibits through Doc365 for the various SMEs to review on projects as needed.
- Mentors and trains Analysts I and II.
- Helps promote and drive a positive company culture that is aligned with PRE’s Core Values and Tenets of Success.
Key Deliverables:
- Efficiently manages all contract lifecycle tasks within the set deadlines simultaneously supporting 4-5 projects at any given time.
- Coordination of all logistical aspects of contract lifecycle, including performing QA/QC of all contracts and exhibits by execution.
- Identifies and suggests opportunities for process improvements and streamlining.
Among your daily duties you would be expected to:
- Document control by managing internal and external file repositories, organizing file structures per company and/or department policy, maintain current and accurate version history of exhibits and all other exchanged documents by performing comparisons, tracking changes, and merging contracts, etc.
- Facilitate and lead both internal and external communications/meetings/calls of daily and/or weekly Exhibit updates to Project team and pertinent leadership including daily and/or weekly status reports for distribution among stakeholders.
- Interface with both internal and external Legal, Risk, SCADA, Engineering and Tax departments, etc. as necessary to ensure deliverables are submitted timely by all SMEs/ departments.
- Maintain oversight of project closeout to ensure all contractual requirements are documented appropriately, including flow downs, white papers, and handover/kick offs presentations.
- Manage with little to no supervision from a Contract Manager LNTP Agreements through the review and execution process.
- Review, redline, and negotiate various legal agreements and correspondence under minimal guidance of Legal and Contracts Management leadership for the purpose of becoming a Commercial Reviewer.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- 4-year Degree in Business, Law. Engineering or Project Management.
- 5 years of solar or renewables experience and/or 6 years of construction experience.
- Experience of 4 years redlining and negotiating contracts.
Required Technical Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in managing and leading a team.

- Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related industry software.
- Commercial experience in the Construction Industry.
