Primoris Engineering is seeking a Civil/Structural Designer to join our engineering group in Houston, TX. Successful candidates will have experience with the latest civil and structural Autodesk design software such as Civil 3D and CADWorx Structure. Candidate should be experienced with and proficient in grading work utilizing Civil 3D and structural design utilizing CADWorx Structure.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create Grading models and plans using Civil 3D software.
- Run cut and fill analysis as well as be able to put together materials list based on site specific soil conditions.
- Create platform, supports and structures using CADWorx Structure.
- Work closely with engineering team and coordinate with other disciplines through duration of projects.
- Be familiar with OSHA regulations and PIP Standards.
- Work with external vendors to ensure all drawings align with equipment and technical documentation.
- Maintain records of revisions and markups through scope of project.
Required Qualifications:
- Prior grading work using Civil 3D
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CAD Design.
- Proficient in Civil 3D
- Proficient in CADWorx Structure
- Proficient in 3D modeling using a variety of Autocad applications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
