What you’ll do
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management strategies.
- Conduct multimodal assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Provide one-on-one support as needed to ensure academic success.
- Maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is required;
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in lower elementary grades.
- Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively while promoting positive behavior among students.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues alike.
- Familiarity with library services and resources to enhance student learning experiences is desirable.
- Experience with early intervention strategies to support students’ developmental needs is highly valued.
