Responsibilities

• Operate garment care machines including industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing efficiently.
• Handle laundry materials with proper techniques to prevent damage and ensure optimal cleanliness.
• Manage materials handling tasks such as loading and unloading push carts, sorting textiles by type and color, and organizing laundry supplies.
• Follow safety standards in production by adhering to safety protocols for manual handling, heavy lifting, and equipment operation to prevent injuries.
• Maintain sanitation standards by using appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents while ensuring all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Assist with textile cleaning processes including stain removal, garment care machine operation, and inspection of finished laundry for quality control.
• Support customer service efforts by promptly addressing guest requests related to laundry services and ensuring timely delivery of clean linens and garments.

Experience

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with laundry operations such as industrial washing machines, dryers, dry cleaning processes, and textile cleaning techniques is advantageous.
• Basic math skills are helpful for managing quantities, measurements, and inventory tracking.
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments ensures adherence to safety protocol guidelines during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks.
• A positive attitude towards teamwork combined with strong attention to detail will help deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
