Our Mesquite, NV Sheet Division, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative. This non-exempt Monday-Friday day shift position, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, requires a self-motivated professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to excel in a high volume fast paced environment. The successful candidate will be a strong customer service/inside sales professional who is self-motivated, and customer oriented.
What you will do:
• Provide superior customer service to all internal and external customers.
• Receive and process customer orders and changes.
• Communicate customer requirements and respond to customer inquiries.
• Provide pricing and information on finished products.
• Partner with Sales Team to address customer issues/complaints.
• Assist Manufacturing to schedule production and shipments.
• Research and contact potential new customers.
• Enter data and orders into computer system.
• Follow up on leads from potential new customers and pass information on to the Sales team.
• Answer potential customers’ questions and send additional information via email.
• Keep up with product and service information and updates.
• Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers.
• Upsell products and services, close sales and achieve sales targets
What we are looking for:
• Minimum of 2 years of proven customer service/sales support experience
• Plastics experience preferred, but not required. Must be willing to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high call/email volume setting
• Strong verbal and written communications skills with attention to detail
• Strong customer orientation and math skills
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, including email and MS Office
