What are the responsibilities and job description for the HSE Training Coordinator position at Primex Plastics Corp?
Primex Plastics is seeking someone with a passion for safety and training to fill our HSE Coordinator position. This position is responsible for leading our health and safety initiatives at the plant level as well as providing safety and skills training to employees in various roles.
Starting wage will vary based on experience. You will then be eligible for wage increases at 60 days, 6 months, and 1st anniversary, as well as receiving bonuses that add another $2,500-$7,500 annually.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify areas of safety concern and suggest corrective actions.
- Research health, safety, and environmental topics to address questions that arise.
- Investigate accidents and near misses.
- Develop materials and presentations to conduct safety training both to large groups and one-on-one.
- Provide training to new entry-level production employees and facilitate training for advancement to skilled production roles.
- Implement safety initiatives developed by corporate HSE as well as recommending initiatives to the corporate team
