Duties
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to support construction operations across diverse projects.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and fastening.
- Support concrete work including mixing, pouring, finishing, and pumping concrete to ensure durable and high-quality results.
- Install rebar and metal studs for structural reinforcement following schematics and blueprints.
- Perform masonry tasks such as bricklaying, stucco application, and tile laying to enhance building aesthetics and stability.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and execute tasks accurately.
- Support framing, carpentry, roofing, drywall installation, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, flooring installation, and restoration projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with construction processes and safety protocols.
- Mechanical knowledge including operation of heavy equipment and understanding of construction estimating principles.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for precise execution of tasks.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete forming systems, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking on uneven surfaces.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience in commercial driving is a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards in renovation, restoration, masonry, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, tile laying, stucco application, roofing, welding, flooring installation, caulking, plastering, and other trades involved in construction projects.
