Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Administrator

Work location: 100% Onsite (5 days a week office)

This position requires the consultant to work on-site five days per week. Candidates must be able to work from one of the following locations:

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer / Administrator to support an enterprise security and infrastructure migration from Zscaler to Palo Alto Networks, with a particular focus on the macOS environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting both Zscaler and Palo Alto platforms, including endpoint configuration, connectivity, troubleshooting, deployment, and migration activities. Strong experience supporting Mac environments is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the migration of enterprise users and endpoints from Zscaler to Palo Alto Networks.
• Provide hands-on engineering and administration support specifically within the macOS environment.
• Configure, deploy, test, and troubleshoot Palo Alto connectivity and security solutions on Mac endpoints.
• Support both the Zscaler and Palo Alto platforms throughout the migration and transition period.
• Work with Power Connect and Auto Connect technologies/configurations as part of the endpoint connectivity environment.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, authentication, security policy, endpoint, and network-related issues during the migration.
• Perform testing and validation to ensure successful migration of Mac users to the new Palo Alto environment.
• Investigate and resolve post-migration issues impacting end-user connectivity or performance.
• Work closely with Infrastructure, Network, Security, Desktop Engineering, and End-User Computing teams.
• Document migration procedures, configurations, troubleshooting steps, and technical issues.
• Provide hands-on support to users and technical teams throughout the rollout.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Infrastructure Administrator, Network/Security Engineer, or Endpoint Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Zscaler technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks technologies.
• Previous experience supporting or participating in a Zscaler-to-Palo Alto migration is highly preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting Apple macOS endpoints in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with Power Connect and Auto Connect.
• Strong understanding of endpoint connectivity, networking, VPN/secure access, authentication, and security policies.
• Experience troubleshooting complex connectivity and endpoint issues.
• Ability to work directly with technical teams and end users in a large enterprise environment.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
