What are the responsibilities and job description for the Investment Trainee - Passive Income position at Primerica?
I run a small office of a well-renowned financial firm and am looking to train one like-minded individual to help run my client services (which include debt strategies, life insurance, retirement and college planning, and overall strategizing with individuals and families for their financial success).
Qualifications the ideal candidate will need:
- People skills - an absolute must. You can strike up a conversation with anyone and make them feel at home.
- Previous professional experience - Though a financial background is not required as we will train those skills
- A long-term mindset - the ability to commit to this position for several years, not several months.
- An interest and willingness to walk through the process of becoming licensed as a professional in the financial industry - including, but not limited to life insurance, investment and mortgage licensing.
- Preferably, you have been out on your own and been in management, started a professional career, experienced an entrepreneurial endeavor, something of that nature.
I would ideally like to find someone who meets at least ONE of the following:
- Is/has been in real estate
- A former or current business owner
- Is married or has children
- Someone who has been licensed in the financial industry previously but feels they have not achieved all they would have liked to as of yet.

- The ability to, over the next 2-3 years, develop a passive income to where you can step back or discontinue the need to work full-time for a full-time paycheck.
Overall pay depends on engagement, and in the value given to clients. There is a fee to be background checked and for company software use.
