- Hold or be eligible for active Missouri and/or Illinois bar admission independently
- Be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

What You'll Be Doing
- Manage a workers' compensation defense caseload with growing independence: corporations, government entities, schools, and insurers
- Conduct depositions, mediations, and hearings before administrative tribunals and courts
- Build and maintain trusted outside-counsel relationships directly with assigned clients
- Work with your dedicated paralegal and legal secretary team to move cases efficiently
- Hit your personalized billables goal using the firm's paperless, technology-forward practice systems
- Participate in firm marketing, community involvement, and business development
- Grow toward partnership — this firm promotes from within and has a genuine track record of it
- 0–5 years post-bar experience; new law graduates explicitly welcome
- Workers' comp defense, insurance defense, or plaintiff-side workers' comp experience is a plus (not required)
- People-first personality — genuine, relationship-driven, and comfortable on the phone and in hearings
- Active or eligible Missouri and/or Illinois bar admission
