We are looking for a dispatcher with strong customer service skills to schedule non-emergency medical transports and communicate with the driving team.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service while working with contracted partners and coordinating Non-Emergency Medical Transportation.
- Intermediary for facilities and drivers with scheduling and operations
- Monitor multiple accounts for new trips
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Outgoing calls to drivers, facilities and clients when needed
- Schedule, route and dispatch multiple drivers
- Maintains a clean work environment
- Driving duties whenever necessary
- Work closely with and communicate with all office staff and drivers
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Proficient computer and typing skills are a must
- Word and Excel experience required
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to work as a team as well as independently
- Critical thinking/problem solving
- Flexibility/Ability to adapt to changes
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Required Education:
- High-School Graduate or GED required
Preferred Experience:
- Customer service
- Basic knowledge of the Denver Metro Area
Must be reliable, punctual, and have excellent time management skills.
