Furniture Delivery Driver & Helper
Two-Person Delivery Team | DC Metro Area
We are hiring for our furniture delivery and installation team. We're looking for reliable, physically capable individuals to work in two-person truck teams — one Driver and one Helper — delivering and setting up furniture for our customers.
Roles Available Driver & Helper (two-person team)
What You'll Do
● Work as a two-person team (Driver Helper) delivering furniture to residential and/or commercial
locations
● Load and unload furniture safely and efficiently
● Carry, maneuver, and install furniture inside customer homes/businesses (may include stairs, tight
hallways, and doorways)
● Assemble furniture on-site as needed
● Inspect items for damage before and after delivery
● Communicate professionally and courteously with customers
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe truck
● Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
Driver-Specific Duties
Operate the delivery truck safely, follow traffic laws, plan efficient routes, and perform basic vehicle checks
(fuel, tires, etc.)
Helper-Specific Duties
Assist with lifting, carrying, and positioning furniture; support the driver with navigation, paperwork, and
customer sign-off
Requirements
● Valid Regular driver's license (required for Driver role)
● Ability to regularly lift and carry heavy furniture (up to 100 lbs with a partner)
● Ability to bend, kneel, climb stairs, and stand/walk for extended periods
● Clean driving record (Driver role)
● Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
● Comfortable with a physically demanding job in various weather conditions
● Must be available to work up to 5 days per week
● Basic tools/assembly experience a plus, but not required — training provided
Schedule & Pay
Schedule: Up to 5 days per week, typical hours 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (may vary by route)
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
Location
Routes are based in the DC Metro Area, loading out of our Waldorf, MD facility.
