Travel Emergency Department Triage RN – Night Shift
Facility: Lahey Hospital & Medical Center
Location: Burlington, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 or 26 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights
Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: 2 holiday shifts
Float: None
Charting: Epic
Trauma Level: Level I
Position Overview
Seeking a highly experienced Emergency Department RN for a dedicated triage role in a 44-bed Level I Trauma Center. This position requires current high-volume ED triage experience, strong rapid-assessment skills, and the ability to independently prioritize complex and unstable patients.
Non-Negotiable Experience Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of RN experience
- Current or very recent Emergency Department triage experience
- Formal triage training required
- Level I trauma experience required
- Epic experience required
Candidates who do not have at least 6 years of experience and recent triage experience will not be considered.

- Active Massachusetts RN license
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- TNCC
- PALS or ENPC
- 44 beds
- More than 45,000 square feet
- Private treatment rooms
- Fast-track area
- Behavioral health suite
- Dedicated imaging suite
- Pharmacy support
- Family waiting and consultation areas
- Fully electronic assessment, documentation, and medication administration through Epic
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend
- 2 holiday shifts during the contract
- Excessive requested time off will not be considered, particularly around holidays
- All RTO should be disclosed at submission
