We are seeking an experienced Tax Director to join a growing tax practice in Beverly Hills. This role is ideal for a senior tax professional with strong experience in federal tax, compliance, and advisory, particularly within the entertainment industry.
This position will play a key leadership role, working closely with executives and partners to drive tax strategy, support business objectives, and lead a team of tax professionals.
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of tax professionals
• Provide strategic tax guidance and advisory support across the organization
• Partner with executives and stakeholders on tax planning and business initiatives
• Develop and implement solutions for complex tax issues
• Review and sign corporate, partnership, individual, and trust tax returns
• Oversee multi-state tax compliance and reporting
• Drive process improvements and optimize tax operations
• Support business growth through proactive tax planning and advisory services
• CPA (US) required or JD with active law license
• 10 years of tax experience in public accounting or professional services
• 5 years leading a tax practice or managing tax teams
• Experience working with entertainment industry clients
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and multi-state tax compliance
• Expertise in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation
• Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills
• Experience with advanced tax software and reporting tools
• Salary: $225,000 – $275,000
