Position Summary
Prime Process Safety Center, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to support the company’s accounting, payroll, financial reporting, and operational finance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, experience with QuickBooks, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technical consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process payroll and employee expense reimbursements
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Prepare invoices and monitor customer payments
- Support budgeting and cash flow tracking
- Coordinate with external CPA, auditors, and tax professionals
- Maintain compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
- Assist with sales tax filings and other regulatory reporting
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial and company information
- Support management with financial analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with payroll processing preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consulting, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial services industries
- CPA candidate or certification is a plus
- Experience with multi-state operations and expense management
