Shift Schedule:
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday; alternate or extended shifts may be required based on clinical or crisis coverage needs.
How many shifts are needed per month:
Determined by facility schedule and patient volume.
License:
Any active, unrestricted U.S. state or territory license permitting independent social work practice.
Certifications:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience needed:
Minimum of 24 months post-licensure experience as an LCSW, including completion of supervised clinical hours.
Special Skills Needed
- Crisis assessment and intervention skills.
- Experience in outpatient counseling, emergency/crisis response, and care coordination.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with sensitivity to cultural and linguistic differences.
- Knowledge of Indian Health Service (IHS) standards, HIPAA, and IT security requirements.
Credentialing / Onboarding time:
Estimated 6–8 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Provide behavioral health services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients across outpatient and emergency settings.
- Conduct psychosocial evaluations and formulate treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling using evidence-based techniques.
- Deliver emergency/crisis care and coordinate referrals to higher levels of care when necessary.
- Maintain thorough, timely, and accurate documentation in accordance with IHS, TJC, and CMS standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, peer reviews, and quality improvement activities.
