Timings
- Must provide IH support coverage on each AFRC standard work-schedule day during standard hours of 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Occasional non-standard shifts may be required to meet mission needs (e.g., early-morning noise dosimetry), coordinated in advance with the COR.
Role Summary
- Leads the contract’s industrial hygiene program; performs and directs all Environmental Health (EH) task requirements in accordance with NPR 1800.1.
- Coordinates IH support coverage with government EH managers, including during periods of increased workload.
- Work must demonstrate professional-level experience across four criteria: independence of actions, depth of work, level of interaction, and responsibility for work outcome.
- Formal education in health and safety.
- At least six (6) years of employment in the professional practice of industrial hygiene, currently engaged in active practice.
- A Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential is preferred, not mandatory
