Job Overview
As a Dental Practice Manager, you will be the driving force behind the smooth operation of our dental clinic. Your leadership will ensure that our practice runs efficiently while providing exceptional patient care. You will manage daily operations, oversee staff, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. Your expertise in fiscal management and medical office administration will be vital in creating a welcoming environment for both patients and team members.
What you’ll do
- Lead and supervise the dental practice team to foster a collaborative and productive work environment
- Manage financial operations including budgeting, billing, and resource allocation to ensure fiscal health
- Oversee patient scheduling, medical records management, and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Implement and maintain efficient office management practices using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft
- Ensure adherence to medical terminology and standards while providing exceptional patient care
- Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff
- Develop and enforce policies that align with best practices in healthcare management
- Monitor clinic operations to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office management or dental practice management
- Strong background in fiscal management and budgeting within a healthcare setting
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic
- Experience in supervising teams within a clinical environment
- Knowledge of managed care processes and utilization management principles
- Background in nursing or acute care settings is a plus
- Understanding of JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations) standards
