JOB TITLE: CDL Class A Driver
DEPARTMENT: PML - Logistics
LOCATION: Amarillo, TX
PAY: Starting pay - $21/hr

SUMMARY: Our CDL Class A Driver is responsible for transporting and unloading material at our retail store locations and other customer job locations. Will be home daily.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transport materials from our manufacturing facility to retail and customer locations.
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions.
- Assist in the loading/unloading of freight.
- Secure cargo on truck
- Frequently requires overnight stays at hotels or in truck sleeper.
- Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with manager, dispatcher, customers, team members
QUALIFICATIONS:
- CDL Class A License required.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and maps.
- Follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
- No more than two (2) moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
- No serious traffic violations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
- No DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol/drugs convictions within the last ten (10) years.
- No preventable accidents* while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
- No preventable* DOT recordable accidents (collisions resulting in disabling damage and/or immediate medical treatment away from the scene) while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last ten (10) years.
- No preventable accidents* resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury in driving history (commercial motor vehicle).
- Successfully pass driver physical exam

- Frequently required to talk and hear.

- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
