What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician/IV Technician position at Prime infusions?
Prime Infusions is seeking for an IV Pharmacy technician to work in a Sterile Compounding and clean room environment. They will work together with the pharmacists to provide specialty infusion services that will be delivered to patients in their homes. Some of the therapies include IV antibiotics, Chemotherapy, TPN, Hydrations, etc.
Position Summary
Under direct supervision, the pharmacy technician assists pharmacist in providing medications to patients and performs routine duties in pharmacy.
Responsibilities include: **
*Prepares and compounds IV sterile medications following USP 797/800 requirements.
*Record and maintain pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs/reports.
*Complete appropriate documentation of IV admixture for sterile compounded products.
*Knowledge of basic pharmaceutical calculations.
Required Qualifications:
- Active PTCB certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
