Assist with managing the company’s finance or accounting department. Manage incoming payments and outgoing bills and invoices on behalf of the company. Experience working with QuickBooks.
This position is full time and is on-site.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manages and keeps organized records. Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
• Provide administrative support during budget preparation and yearly audits.
• Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance.
• Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Assist Human resources with necessary information to maintain accurate records of all employees regarding personal information.
• Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
• Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
• Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
• Prepares and audits individuals Financial ledgers. Deals with appeals for individuals, process and prepares all necessary paperwork for Social Security.
• Meet with EFHs when questions pertaining to Finance arise.
• Receive and scan all new insurance cards to individual’s team.
• Assist guardians with yearly paperwork and produce accounting reports to process such requests.
• Process employee expense and mileage payments. Audits such request for abnormalities.
• Assist the Director with various ongoing projects to improve the company's processes and procedures.
• Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Suggest changes and improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency and cost reductions.
Qualifications:
Education
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is preferred but not required.
• Certified Accounts Payable Associates (CAPA) is a plus
Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s License
• Current vehicle Insurance upon request
Must be able to pass the following background checks:
• Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Adult Protective Services Central Registry
Experience:
• Advanced experience Excel
• Quickbooks
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational, communication and analytical skills
• 1-3 years experience processing payroll preferred
• Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel.
