Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Gastroenterology team. Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive GI care alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff.
• Conduct initial assessments, follow-ups, and manage inpatient care
• Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in care coordination, documentation, and patient education.
Requirements:
• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Illinois.
• Strongly preferred: 1 year of experience in Gastroenterology or inpatient medicine.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team.
• EMR proficiency (experience with Epic is a plus).
Salary : $125,000 - $140,000
