The Manager of Endoscopy is responsible for direction of patient care in the department. The Manager manages the staff members in the department. Consults with staff, physicians and Nurse Executive on nursing issues and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and assists with formulation of budget for the department.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS upon hire and maintain current.
- A minimum of two years’ supervisory/management experience necessary.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required.
- CNOR; preferred.
- Current ACLS Certification upon hire and maintain current
- At least two (2) years of experience in Endoscopy.
- Current PALS certification for those facilities caring for pediatric population.
Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $53.85 to $62.50. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
