Fresh, fast, and proud of every plate? Prime Group is looking for a Bistro Cook to prepare great food with care, keep service moving, and help our guests enjoy a meal they will remember.
Job Summary
Prepare consistent, well-presented food at The Bistro at Courtyard by Marriott. Keep your station clean, stocked, and food-safe, and support the kitchen team through every service.
What You'll Do
Including but not limited to:
- Prepare menu items to recipe, portion, and presentation standards
- Set up, stock, and break down your station for each service
- Keep the line moving during busy periods and communicate clearly with the team
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and storage standards, and keep the kitchen inspection-ready
- Check deliveries, rotate product, and minimize waste
- Taste and check every plate before it goes out
- Support banquet and room service production as needed
- Report equipment or supply issues to the Sous Chef promptly
What You Bring
- 1 year in a professional kitchen; breakfast, line, or high-volume experience preferred
- Solid knife skills and working knowledge of basic cooking methods and stations
- Food handler certification, or the ability to obtain it within the required timeframe
- A calm, organized approach to a busy line, and pride in every plate
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction in a fast-paced kitchen
- Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and carry kitchen supplies
- Experience in upscale or full-service resort hospitality, including Hilton or Marriott, preferred
