Job Summary
Sell and manage weddings, banquets, and catered events from first inquiry to final invoice. Make every event a showcase for both resorts.
What You'll Do
Including but not limited to:
- Sell weddings, banquets, and corporate and social events
- Plan timelines, menus, and setups with clients
- Price each event for margin, with proposals and contracts that protect it
- Lead on-site coordination and resolve issues during events
- Turn satisfied clients into repeat and referral business
What You Bring
- 4 years in catering or banquet sales
- Strong sales, closing, and client-service skills
- Working knowledge of banquet operations and event planning
- Contract literacy and event pricing discipline
- Forecasting, yield management, and critical thinking, with the discipline to price events for margin
- Organization and calm under pressure
- Experience in upscale or full-service resort hospitality, including Hilton or Marriott, preferred
