Job Summary
Run the day-to-day kitchen at Faro Blanco. Lead the brigade and the line to deliver consistent, high-quality food across every outlet, room service order, and event.
What You'll Do
Including but not limited to:
- Run daily production across outlets, banquets, and room service
- Plan production and ordering to the forecast, and manage food cost and waste
- Lead sous chefs, line cooks, and stewards
- Protect food quality and consistency on every plate
- Keep the kitchen food-safe and inspection-ready
What You Bring
- 6 years in professional kitchens, with 2 years as a sous chef or equivalent
- Strong technical skills across cooking methods and stations
- ServSafe Manager certification or equivalent
- Experience with banquet-volume production
- Forecasting and critical thinking, with the ability to track daily food cost and act on waste
- Calm authority at the pass, and a leadership style that builds people as well as dishes
- Restaurant and bar experience preferred
- Experience in upscale or full-service resort hospitality, including Hilton or Marriott, preferred
