Service Technician - 1099 Contract

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated technician to join our service network on a long-term basis. This is a 1099 position perfect for a skilled technician who values autonomy and has an entrepreneurial drive. You will operate in a partnership with our business, manage your schedule, and use our established customers, leads, and dispatching to build your income through a generous profit-sharing model.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform professional installation of new garage doors, openers, and related hardware.

· Diagnose and perform repairs on all types of garage doors and openers.

· Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections.

· Provide clear communication and excellent customer service at every job site.

· Manage your own daily schedule efficiently to complete assigned service calls.

· Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.

Contractor Requirements:

· Proven experience in garage door installation, repair, and maintenance.

· Must own and supply ALL necessary professional tools for the trade.

· Must own a reliable, well-maintained pick up truck or cargo van with a ladder rack system.

· Vehicle must be in excellent overall condition: free of significant rust, damage, and prior business decals.

· Must carry and maintain, at your own expense:

· Valid Commercial Auto Insurance.

· General Liability Insurance

· Strong work ethic, professionalism, and a clean driving record.

· Ability to pass a standard background check.
