What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto/Diesel Technician position at Modr's Auto and Truck Service?
Modr's Auto & Truck Service is seeking a Automotive/ Diesel Technician, our ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting, repairing and or replacing major components and systems, such as engine, transmission, differentials and trans axles, electronic fuel system, emissions control systems and related electrical systems. Maintains auto and diesel equipment /vehicles operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and keeping records.
Candidate responsibilities include tear down, repair , reassembly and run operational checks on components, following instructions contained in technical manuals, troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of major systems described above, use variety of test procedures and equipment in tracing hard to locate defects or problems and complete repairs and installations with little to no technical advise. Maintain good housekeeping in and around shop.
Must have own tools, pay base on experience. State inspector license is a plus.
