We are seeking an energetic and motivated Roofing and Solar Sales Professional to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Develop new business through proactive outside sales efforts, including cold calling, lead generation, and territory management
- Manage existing accounts by providing ongoing customer service, upselling additional products or services, and ensuring client satisfaction
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to educate clients on roofing options and solar solutions
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for strategic planning
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure successful sales agreements while maintaining profitability
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement targeted campaigns that increase brand awareness and generate leads
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and product offerings to stay ahead in the marketplace
Experience
- Proven success in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the roofing or renewable energy industry
- Experience managing territory sales and developing new business opportunities through lead generation and cold calling
- Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, and account management with a focus on building long-term relationships
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools for tracking sales activities and analyzing performance
- Demonstrated ability to conduct product demos, upsell services, and close deals effectively
- Excellent analysis skills for market research, competitor analysis, and strategic planning
- Prior experience in retail sales or inside sales is a plus but not required
