Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Class A CDL Local Roll Off Drivers to join our team in Pulaski, TN. This role involves operating roll-off trucks to service scrap yards and waste management facilities, ensuring timely and safe collection and delivery. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience driving commercial trucks, particularly roll-off trucks, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Responsibilities
- Operate Class A CDL roll-off trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Transport scrap materials and waste containers to designated locations, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the truck, conducting routine inspections before and after shifts.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients and ensuring their needs are met.
- Follow all safety procedures during loading, unloading, and driving operations to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Complete required logs, reports, and documentation accurately as per company policies and DOT standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and address any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of two years of experience operating commercial trucks, specifically roll-off trucks preferred.
- Proven experience working in scrap yards or similar environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols related to commercial trucking.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation compliance.
