Expertise in Quickbooks required
Experience in Lightspeed POS system or similar
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of cash flow analysis.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights on variances.
- Collaborate with other departments to support corporate accounting initiatives.
Skills
- Proficiency in financial software for efficient data management and reporting.
- Strong understanding of debits and credits, ensuring accurate bookkeeping practices.
- Experience in corporate accounting with a focus on compliance and regulatory standards.
- Knowledge of public accounting principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with governmental accounting practices is advantageous.
