We are currently seeking an Engineering Intern to join our Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio or New York offices to work on public and private sector infrastructure projects related to water and wastewater systems.

What You’ll Do:

Interns at PRIME provide college students with an opportunity to gain real-world experience in their specific field of study. Interns work alongside world-class professionals in a fast-paced, professional setting, providing invaluable experience applying the knowledge and skills learned through education in a business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design of various projects.
• Perform analyses and apply problem solving techniques to develop creative, innovative solutions. 
• Perform a variety of complicated tasks and critical thinking.
• Take part in reviewing, understanding, and applying local, state and federal codes and standards related to the design and construction of project facilities. 
• Learn and apply market specific guidelines, the practices and policies of the associated local discipline, divisions, and firm.
• Assist field staff, General Contractors, Architects, and Engineers to ensure compliance with specifications and design during construction.

What You’ll Bring:

• Students pursuing a BS degree from an ABET accredited engineering program.  
• Willingness to learn about engineering projects for local, state and federal clients involving municipal and industrial markets. 
• Exposure to systems and software to include AutoCAD, ArcGIS, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), MicroStation, InRoads, KYPipe, SWMM, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM, EPANET, WaterCAD, and Microsoft Office. 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
